Privacy Policy

Carpe ("we", "the Company") provides the My Little AI app ("the Service"). We take the privacy of our users (parents and children) seriously. This policy explains how the Service handles personal information.

1. Summary

• No account, no sign-in. We do not collect any identifying information such as name, email, or phone number.
• No data is transmitted to any server. The app makes zero network calls. All data stays on the user's device only.
• No analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. Nothing is shared with any third party.
• No advertising anywhere in the app.
• No in-app purchases in this version. This version does not include any payment feature. If a payment feature is added in a future version, it will use only the official store payment systems (Apple App Store / Google Play), and this policy will be updated accordingly at that time.
• No microphone, camera, or location permission requests.

2. Personal Information We Collect

None. The Service does not collect any personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

• Name, email, phone number, address, or other direct identifiers
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) or device identifiers
• Location data
• Photos, audio, or video input
• Usage logs, analytics events, or diagnostic data sent to our servers or any third party

Information generated during use of the app (nickname, progress, settings, etc.) is stored only in local device storage (AsyncStorage) and is never transmitted anywhere, including to us.

3. Children's Privacy

This Service is designed primarily for children ages 6–8. To align with Apple's Kids Category, Google Play's Families policy, and the spirit of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we apply the following:

• No account creation, so no identifying information about children is collected.
• No server transmission (see §2), so nothing a child enters or creates ever reaches us or any third party.
• No advertising, external links, purchases, or upsells are shown on any screen a child sees; these are only reachable behind a parental gate (e.g., a math challenge).
• No randomized paid rewards (loot-box mechanics) of any kind.
• No microphone or camera permission is requested.

A parent or guardian can completely remove all data stored on the device simply by deleting the app (we keep no separate copy, since none is ever transmitted).

4. Third-Party Disclosure and Data Processing

None. The Service does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud backend service, so there is no recipient to disclose personal information to or delegate processing to.

If a payment feature is added in a future version, payments will be processed exclusively through the official in-app purchase systems of Apple Inc. / Google LLC, and minimal transaction information (e.g., a transaction identifier) may be shared with that platform as part of normal purchase processing. This will be disclosed via a policy update at that time.

5. International Data Transfers

Not applicable — since no personal information is collected or transmitted, none is transferred internationally.

6. Your Rights

Because there is no account and we retain no personal information, no separate access/correction/deletion request process is necessary. Users may remove all data stored on their device at any time simply by deleting the app. For any other inquiries, please use the contact information below.

7. Advertising and Advertising Identifiers

This app does not display advertising and does not collect or use advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID).

8. Security Measures

Because all data resides only on the user's device, there is no server under our control that could be breached to leak this data. Device-level security depends on the operating system (iOS/Android) and the user's own device management.

10. Changes to This Policy
